With the renewed focus and commitment of Oyo State Government (OYSG) to making Oyo State self-sustaining in food production while creating opportunities for agribusiness development and youth employment, the OYSG embarked on revamping Akufo farm settlement by facilitating Seven billion six hundred million naira (NGN 7.6 billion) loan from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to finance the development of the Akufo farm settlement in Ido Local Government to Farm Estate (Agribusiness Industrial Hub) as a Pilot scheme.
