The objectives of this ESMF are: • To establish clear procedures and methodologies for the E&S planning, review, approval, and implementation of sub-projects to be financed under the Program; • To specify appropriate roles and responsibilities and outline the necessary reporting procedures, for managing and monitoring E&S concerns related to sub-projects; • To provide practical resources for implementing the ESMF, including general guidance on the development of E&S Management Plans (ESMPs) and their implementation.
